Local choices,
clear boundaries.

This page is rendered from the same 18-section JSON document packaged inside Schoolday Bridge 1.0.0.

Summary. No Internet permission, no account, no advertising or analytics, no child records, and only numeric bookmarks plus up to four local tray slots.

01Who this policy covers

This policy explains the Schoolday Bridge Android application, its companion support pages, and the limited information handled when you use them. The app is an adult-facing, offline planning companion for people organising general school-day care activities.

The responsible entity named for this release is DALLINGTON OUT OF SCHOOL CARE AND RECREATION INCORPORATED, with the current public postal address shown in the contact section of this policy.

02What the app is for

Schoolday Bridge presents 44 practical guides organised as Handover Strip, Roomwheel, Recipe Conveyor, Weather Switchboard, Quiet Corner, Pickup Close, and Adult Safety Gate. Guides can be read, bookmarked, and placed into a four-slot local tray.

The app does not claim to be the official booking, enrolment, attendance, payment, messaging, or case-management system of Dallington Out of School Care and Recreation Incorporated.

03Information we do not collect

The Android app does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, account password, child name, date of birth, photograph, location, health information, disability information, school record, attendance record, collection detail, safeguarding note, or free-text journal.

It has no chat, public profile, follower system, advertising identifier, analytics SDK, or live data feed.

04Local app state

When you bookmark a guide or add a guide to the Bridge Tray, the app stores only the corresponding guide numbers in local Android preferences on that device. The tray is limited to four slots.

This state is functional convenience data, not a participant record. It is not transmitted to us and is not combined with an identity.

05Deletion and reset

Use the clear action in the Bridge Tray to remove local bookmarks and tray selections. You can also clear the app's storage or uninstall the app through Android settings.

Because the app does not create an online account, there is no server-side profile to request deletion from this app.

06Network and permissions

The release build requests no runtime permissions and contains no Internet permission. It is designed to render its guides and images from packaged resources without a network connection.

Some source and support buttons may hand a URL to the device's browser using Android's standard link action. The browser, website operator, and linked service then apply their own policies.

07External websites and sources

The Source Cabinet links to public New Zealand records and safety guidance, including NZBN, Charities Services, Family Services Directory, Work and Income, Oranga Tamariki, Eastern Community, and New Zealand Police.

Opening a link leaves the app. We do not receive the browser's history, forms, cookies, or account information through Schoolday Bridge.

08Support contact

For privacy questions about Schoolday Bridge, use the current postal contact for DALLINGTON OUT OF SCHOOL CARE AND RECREATION INCORPORATED: Avon Hub, 77 North Parade, Richmond, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand.

Please identify Schoolday Bridge and version 1.0.0 in correspondence. Do not send child records, passwords, health details, safeguarding reports, or urgent safety information to a general privacy route.

09Children and young people

The content discusses school-age care, but the product is intended for responsible adults such as caregivers, staff, and organisers. It does not create a child account or invite children to publish information.

Adults remain responsible for supervision, consent, collection procedures, accessibility adjustments, and the site's safeguarding policy.

10Safeguarding boundaries

The app includes general prompts to stop an activity, move people away from danger, and use an authorised safeguarding or emergency route. It is not a reporting inbox and does not monitor a child.

For immediate danger in New Zealand call 111. For non-urgent concerns use the responsible organisation's documented route or the official agency guidance linked in the Source Cabinet.

11Health and wellbeing boundaries

Schoolday Bridge offers general activity and environment prompts only. It does not diagnose, treat, assess, or prevent a medical, developmental, mental-health, allergy, or disability condition.

Follow qualified professional advice and the setting's current health, allergy, medication, and emergency procedures. The app cannot confirm that a food, route, room, or activity is safe for a particular person.

12Images and creative assets

The app's editorial images are packaged illustrations or photographs created as decorative context. They are not images of identifiable programme participants, attendance evidence, or operational records.

The images are not used for facial recognition, identity matching, behavioural profiling, or any other automated decision about a person.

13Children's images and media

The app does not request, upload, store, or publish participant photographs, videos, audio, or live camera content. Do not use the app as a media archive.

Any media process used by a real programme must follow the organisation's consent, retention, access, and safeguarding controls outside this app.

14Security design

The minimal local state, no-account design, no network permission, disabled Android backup, and absence of free-text fields reduce the amount of information that could be exposed.

No software design can remove every device risk. Keep Android updated, protect the device, and use authorised systems for confidential records.

15Retention

Bookmarks and four tray selections remain locally until you clear them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Packaged guide content remains part of the installed release until the app is updated or removed.

There is no remote retention schedule for app state because the release does not send that state to a server.

16Changes to this policy

A future release may update the guide content, source links, app behaviour, or this policy. The effective date and version at the top will identify the current document included with the release.

If a material change introduces accounts, network transfer, analytics, advertising, or new permissions, the privacy notice and store declarations must be revised before that behaviour is shipped.

17Your choices and questions

You can choose whether to use a guide, bookmark it, put it in the tray, or open an external source. You can close the app at any time and clear all local selections.

Questions about the app or this policy can be directed to the postal contact in section 8. This notice does not limit rights that apply under New Zealand law.

18Contact and legal context

Schoolday Bridge version 1.0.0 is associated with DALLINGTON OUT OF SCHOOL CARE AND RECREATION INCORPORATED, Avon Hub, 77 North Parade, Richmond, Christchurch 8013, New Zealand. Include the app name and version when writing about privacy.

This policy is intended to explain the app clearly and does not remove any privacy rights or responsibilities that apply under New Zealand law. Urgent safety matters belong with the appropriate responsible adult, safeguarding route, or emergency service rather than a general privacy inquiry.
